Green Room's THEATRE WORKS

ONE
NIGHT ONLY
MONDAY,
MAY 19 at 7PM
The
Green Room Community Theatre's Spring One Acts will be presented
for one exciting night only, Monday, May 19 th , at 7pm. The Theatre
Works' casts will perform the winning productions from this year's
New Playwright Festival Contest. Come join us for “In
a Land Long Ago" as Tres McNeil takes us on an adventure through
a magical land to defeat an evil wizard bent on world domination. Then,
come along with Ella and her eccentric family as she explores her
imagination in Gregor McGee's family comedy, "Ella, the Donkey."
Finally, we find ourselves stranded with pirates in a coming-of-age
ninja love story, "Avast, Ye Ninja," written by Christina
and Jonathan Banner.
This
project was supported by the United Arts Council of Catawba County
through the North Carolina Arts Council, with funding from the State
of North Carolina and the National Endowment for the Arts, which
believes that a great nation deserves great art. The performace
will be at the Newton-Conover Civic & Performance Place where
The Green Room Community Theatre performs. Tickets are $5. This
performance is general addmission; there will be no advance reservations.
Bring the family for this night of fun, adventure, and pirate ninja
disco dancing.
