Audition Notes
We do not require experience, prepared monologues or headshots.

MUSICAL Auditions: If you are auditioning for a musical, you do need to have a prepared song (an accompanist will be provided). Wear comfortable clothing and shoes for movement/dance auditions. A choreographer will teach you a short dance routine for your audition to see how you move.

If you are unfamiliar with a play for which you would like to audition, you can check out a script with a $5 refundable deposit (as scripts are available). Auditions generally include a cold reading from the play, so determine ahead of time which roles interest you. The Green Room encourages non-traditional casting. All interested persons are urged to audition.

THE GREEN ROOM MAILS OUT AN AUDITION FLYER FOR EACH PRODUCTION ABOUT ONE MONTH PRIOR TO THE AUDITION DATE GIVING MORE DETAIL ABOUT THE AUDITION.
